ReproducibiliTea Dresden summer semester schedule
Datum: 07.04. und 14.07.2022
Ort: virtuell
The summer term approaches, and thus we would like to inform you about our plans for the ReproducibiliTea journal club in the next months.
The overarching topic of the term is going to be: the various stages of paper writing. From data sampling over analysis strategies to writing and preprints, we want to discuss Open Science methods that are tailored to help you tackle specific steps in the research process.
The regular meetings, where we briefly present and discuss relevant articles, will again take place monthly on Thursday from 3 pm to 4 pm via Zoom.
In addition to these “classic” journal club meetings, we introduce OpenTea sessions: two weeks after each ReproTea meeting, at the same day and time, these will offer an informal option to gather and discuss over a cup of tea (or coffee 🙂 ) your own Open Science experiences. With these additional opportunities to chat, we want to give you the chance to socialize and profit more from the benefits of a community of motivated and engaged researchers who may have faced similar challenges as you do.
Below, you find the detailed schedule of all planned ReproTea and OpenTea sessions. We will of course send you a reminder when the first meeting approaches, together with the Zoom link.
It would be great if you could help us spread the word: share this info with other Open Science enthusiasts (or those “in spe”). Everyone is invited! And if you haven’t done so yet: register via OPAL, to stay up to date. The link to our course is: https://tud.link/4fao
